The closest connection to Thera from Jita was in Kinakka and coming to it I've noticed an Ikitursa and half minute after Zarmazd. I've tackled him in Kinakka, he jumped to Thera and it was a good luck I had my ceptor ready, so we made a first quick kill:

After we went to Brave's staging and get a few quick kills:

https://zkillboard.com/kill/86342882/ +20M pod

Brave eventually formed up a proper response including Nightmare, Tengu, 3 Gilas, Scimitar, and . We tried to get on top of it but he was positioning himself behind DPS. We tried to get targets of opportunities but other than Slasher could not break anything

Few people lost small ships on our own:

William was trying to save someone and aligned towards NM, he realized this too late:

Nightmare booshed on top of me, but somehow I was able to survive (OH MWD, align out, shoot other small things in range): https://i.imgur.com/9UFR9kL.jpg
After Brave brought 2 more Scimitars we decided to come back home and replenish losses.
Thera whole was camped by Thermodynamics folks: Nightmare, Claymore, Loki, Bifrost. As they did not have dictors so we were able to safely pass through. Though they asked to fight and I decided why not try to kill a Bifrost?
We got to the tactical BM nearby, warped in together and started a Skirmish. Bifrost warped away pretty fast (was someones alt for sure). We tried to shoot things, but big BCs were too tanky, we tried to aim Loki expecting it to have a smaller tank, but that did not work as he was often hiding behind BCs. After taking a few loses we retreated:

https://zkillboard.com/kill/86343336/ -322M Orthurus
https://zkillboard.com/kill/86343349/ -156M Phantasm
All these loses seemed unnecessary and avoidable, but I guess we are learning. Hope folks had fun.
After this a much smaller group, mainly FWeddit folks went to roam and eventually came to Horde. On the way we caught and killed:

https://zkillboard.com/kill/86344145/ +108M Manticore

Rex joined us in a Hawk and killed a few ships solo:

https://zkillboard.com/kill/86344222/ +35M Crow
https://zkillboard.com/kill/86344360/ +14M Incursus
We met Slyce folks, killed a Manticore
https://zkillboard.com/kill/86344292/ +62M Manticore
took a bait on a Tengu, but it was cyno so we escaped except of Apocrit who was trying to bump Tengu from the gate:
https://zkillboard.com/kill/86344299/ -297M Ishtar
The last fight was against roaming solo Retribution. I was sleeping and made a mistake by coming too close:
https://zkillboard.com/kill/86344431/ -71M Stiletto (had some loot)
Few other folks made same mistake and let themselves to be crammed:
https://zkillboard.com/kill/86344434/ -47M Stiletto
https://zkillboard.com/kill/86344437/ -96M Hecate
But we killed it:
https://zkillboard.com/kill/86344438/ +196M Retribution
Overall was fun hunting so +1 another good fleet - Positives
- Good turnaround
- Some kills
- Some challenging fights
- Lots of learning experience
- Negatives
- Many unnecessary losses. Too many, TBH. Hope people will keep coming and learning.
- What to improve on
- Dunno, open for suggestions.
- I guess I can learn to keep an eye on the grid and help newbros to stay at range to not be scrammed/webbed
- Battlereport
Totally killed: +1,516M
Totally lost: -1,310M
See you next time!

Actually, on what we can improve. I think we can get few bigger ships and reships to fight these folks in NM+T3C. Nano Phoon is a good option I think. Thoughts?

Fun roam this week. We had pretty good numbers and a pretty nice fleet comp.
I think we lingered too long outside Brave staging. Once we were up against three Scimis we weren't going to break anything. We were fortunate to have that Thera hole appear so close—we'd have been in trouble if they brought any serious tackle or a dictor. If we did it again, I'd be more aggressive in forcing the fight and more decisive about when we go all in.
RE our little skirmish in Thera: I agree that we needed some heavier DPS. We should stock some if there isn't much on public contracts.
As always, thanks for the fleet!

Usually, when I turn "aggressive and decisive" mode, I whelp
But it is good to get feedback, thanks William!
