[2018-11-18] Iron Federation vs...we can't tell

Fedup, FRC (Free Range Chikuns, IE us), Iron armada+Iron's batphones formed for Iron's fort armor timer in Barleguet. The aggressors were snuffed out, who reffed it the previous nights before with titans. We knew many groups were hurffing for the timer, and formed big to show both our new coalition might, and also just to match their strength.

Both sides formed machs, and fedup/FRC burned down to barle to meet iron. We did some comms messing around in TS3 (we're switching to coalition comms so we will hopefully never ever have to deal with that again), then undocked, met, and brawled snuff/pen on the fort undock.

The initial fight went well with iron and fedup fc-ing subcaps. Snuffed trickled in some dreads and faxes to turn the tides to their favor, iron undocked more caps, and then finally it turned into a full dread drop with FRC fc-ing caps (caps are easy. just look for the closest dread and say 'yeah hey shoot that guy').

We had a fun LS brawl, barely inching ahead. Until... init came. Shines called for a quick form op, and rage dropped 90 caps right in the middle of our fight. When they first dropped, our fleet didn't know what they were even doing here. Reason being, the web of current diplomancy; fedup is blue to init, iron armada is blue to init, snuff is not blue to init but they're very good butt buddies...so who are they even here to shoot? oh yeah...us.

Init instantly shot anything not blue/bluetral, and completely tipped the scales on our fight. All FRC specifically got shot first, then anyone who wasn't fedup/iron armada or allied with snuff. Snuff, seeing their cap numbers 3x, starts dropping titans to add insult to injury, and our side docks up and watches init watch snuff drop the fort timer into hull. Thus concludes this fight.

What Happened
Above all else, let it be very clear: This is by no fault any of our allies, or us. We debriefed after the fight and no group on our side asked init or imperium to come. And the moment we realized what init was doing, iron armada instantly rushed their diplo team to try to stop init from shooting all of Iron's armada (see what I did there), but to no avail.

We suspect snuff batphoned init, and init, taking advantage of the blue confusion, did really well. But also another point: we're not going to play the role of the bitter ex from this fight. That's init. They're the ones who can't move on, who still talk about us in their discord every few days, and who our name, our 150 man alliance who peeled off from an alliance 20x our size, still can't stop mentioning us. So that makes me kind of special.

This fight showed that no one can say we don't pull our weight. We formed more caps than even fedup. and accounted for over 1/5 of the total caps from our side, there even though we were only 1/10 of the fleet. We are a major player in this coalition, there's no denying that.

So, replace the caps we lost (SRP here https://j4lp.space/srp/D376EDB3/request), train caps and caps alts because I can promise we'll keep using them, and keep a positive fun attitude, because I can think of many haters who can't.

BR says it all. They came here to fuck us up specifically, not "anyone who wasn't fedup/iron armada". Lets keep on spinning this to our narrative as INIT being the obsessed ex who just cant let us go.
